Kathy's Piece

Kathy's round robin is done and packed to go home. I hope you like it Kathy. I am having a tiny celebration as I am finished with round robins :-). I've loved this group and I am looking forward to finishing up my piece. I think I am going to do some sort of memorial block for Sue since she didn't get to stitch on my piece.

Pat's Piece

I finished Pat's piece yesterday. I will mail it Monday to Kathy. Hope you like what I've stitched. It's such a fun round robin. I have a good start on Kathy's piece and I am actually hoping that I can send it Monday as well.

Lisa's Round Robin

I stitched the Headless Horseman from CEC. It was so much fun to do. Hope you like it Lisa. I am starting Pat's piece tonight.

Katrina's RR on its way home!

This one came together rather quickly for me. All Drawn Thread designs, except for the geese which I copied from the area next to mine. :) I love it when a flock of Canada geese fly over the house!



The house is from The Wildflower Garden and the animals are all from The Sanctuary.

I'm off to run some errands and that includes a stop at the PO to get this package in the mail.

I finished my part on Kathy's RR and mailed it on Saturday. This is from Our House by Goode Huswife. I really liked doing this piece especially in the fall!

Jane Chick's Round Robin

Jane, the pictures not great, sorry the sun was shining in the window. There are lots of bright spots but you can still get an idea, your piece is great! I was in a hurry to get it in the mail :-). Hope you like what I've done, I modified the Marriage of the Mind pattern you included, there was no way to fit it all in but I managed to make it work.

Hi Lynn! Here you go - as requested, a pic of what it looks like now.

I felt like your piece had waaaay too much empty space at this stage of the game so I tried to fill up some of it with the PS birdhouse, and then I had an awkward spot so I added another PS house.

Hi Georgie,

I just finished stitching on your RR!! It took a whole lot of courage to stitch my initials on the tomb :-)))) Spooky!
Anyway I hope you like what I have stitched for you and I will send it on to Kathy after the weekend.

One question though....Katrina asked me to baste as she had no time left and wanted to give the piece to me when I was there. I basted a line under my block from left to right as well as to the right of my block. Do you want me continue and if so how do you like it best to be done?? I am in the hotel this weekend (DH has his duty weekend) so you can respond here or on my yahoo address.

What fun! I really enjoyed stitching on your piece, Lisa. I also enjoyed buying the new Prairie Schooler chart "When Witches Ride"! ;) It was perfect timing.

I have finished Katrina's RR and only have the letter to type up. Should be in the post tomorrow for you Lynn. I absolutely loved stitching on this piece and once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down until I was finished. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute....It's Winter here at the moment, so the days aren't great for taking photos.....Sorry

Katrina's Neighbourhood!

I have finished stitching on Katrina's RR. I just have a printer challenge to get the letter printed but will sort that tonight when DH is home. It will be going in the mail tomorrow Georgie! I had so much fun stitching on this RR. It is so beautiful! I decided to stitch the block right from the church and prolonged the gate into my block to make it look like one part. I hope I achieved this :-) Most of the design is from DT's Marriage of Minds. I hope you like it Katrina?!!

Pat's Seaside RR Done!

Here's Pat's RR - its fun to stitch - I've stitched a crocodile since Australia is well known for "Crocodile Dundee", Crocodile Hunter - Steve Irwin. Kathy had given me a CHS croc to stitch - I frog it - it has to be stitched 1 over 1 - therefore, I managed to find another croc - see, we have many crocs in Australia - LOL, this one is from Elizabeth Bradley's book. The whole design is from Elizabeth's Design. BTW I've removed my surname from the pic only - it is actually stitched on this piece.

Katrina's RR arrived in NJ!

Katrina it looks beautiful!! It is going to be fun to look for the perfect house to add!!

I stitched the top and bottom from Shepherd's Bush Happy Haunting on Georgie's RR.


The tombstone is taken from a SanMan Originals chart. I like the age cracks!


I'll be right by the post office on Saturday morning so I'll mail it then. The fabric is perfect for this piece.

Sorry my camera died just before I mailed this so this picture is kind of tragic but anyway you get the idea! It's Lady Scarlet, surrounded by some PS cornstalks and some PS Geese (which is becoming my RR signature, i think this is the third time I've felt the need to add some geese!)
Anyway this was mailed last week to Susan and I am anxiously awaiting news of it's arrival

Hi everyone, I have just finished Pat's RR and I decided to stitch most of mine from Shores from Hawk Run Hollow. The mermaid was too big, so I stitched her over one. The house is from Hillside Samplings....I really hope you like what I have done, Pat, I just loved stitching on it

Karin's Round Robin

I have finished my block on Karin's piece. I think it's going to be gorgeous. I decided to do a EEF block. I love their designs and I thought it would fit in nicely. Karin, hope you like it! Kathy be on the look out I am going to the post office this afternoon.

Kathy's RR!

I finished my part on Kathy's RR and I mailed it registered to Georgie this morning. For my block I used Miss Lila's House from Barrick Samplers and Sheldon Hawkes House from The Goode Huswife. I hope you like it Kathy!? I think it is coming along beautifully and the colors of my photos don't do justice to the piece. The linen and threads used are in much warmer colors.
