Hi Everyone
Could you all do me a favor please and let me know via the comments part here please please please
1. What count linen/evenweave you are going to use and
2. What size your piece of fabric is
because this way I will know if I have a piece that will do or have to order one for this.
Thanks a lot and happy stitching

Ok the other thing is I'm going to enable you all now with this other one I found by The Stitching Parlor and it's called
Birds of Killingworth
and I LOVE IT!!!

wow I would love to know the answer to this too, I really need to find one.

Oh and good news, i have a copy of the PS birdhouse too.

My big hang up at the moment is borders - sew in advance, or sew at the end...

I haven't actually plotted things out so I am not sure yet other than my linen is 36 count. My piece is a bit big but I am thinking of 70 by 70 squares right now.

Sorry about this but what size in inches is 70 by 70 squares please?

It depends on what count you use as to how big 70 x 70 will be...I will be using 36ct and I think (I'll have to recheck) that mine is 80 x 80.

Sorry to be so obtusely dumb but 80 x 80 what?!?

Thank you so much Georgie. It's my age - you have to make allowances for us old people (only joking).

Mine is 35/36ct and 80cm x 80cm. I'm waiting for the crescent colours to arrive b4 I can start. Meanwhile, I've found a few other patterns.

I haven't decided how large my piece is going to be, but more than likely, it will be done on 32ct linen.

Once I have given even a moment's thought to it, I'll post again!

Patti

I am using a 32 count linen and have both a half cut and a quarter cut that I can use - at the moment I really need to work out the design size I want everyone to stitch but I am thinking approx 4 x 4 or 3 x 5 or 2 x 6 sounds about right - that's inches! Will let you know when I have a moment to sit down in peace and quiet - it's school holidays here for another week then peace reigns again!
