Well I love anything with lots of red and the vibrant colours really do appeal too! I say go for it - it certainly will be a very unique neighbourhood and fun to stitch!
Like Kathy said I have never seen this design before - are there more like it and who is the designer?
Definitely go for it - you want a piece that you are going to love!
The only thing I would suggest is that for something at little unusual like this, you may want to include some working copies - I'm not sure I have anything in my stash that would go with this theme.
In fact I love it so much that I have to have this on my round robin by hook or by crook. There is another one of theirs and I'll put a picture of it up above cause I love that one too.

Patti, I wud love to see the other one? This one uses Crescent Colours, I think the floss shud arrive this week and I can start.
I'm late replying, but I love this!!! The house is so unique.
